I arranged the final items in TcMenu, such as Scales, but I had difficulty with the menu for instructing a particular octave to behave like another. I settled on creating ten items with one option each. I can quickly identify the octave I want to alter from the list, then set the new number and exit. I discovered the convenient TcMenu feature called Callbacks, a name I was unfamiliar with, which were pre-built versions of all the laborious code I was writing to recognize changes. I wanted to check the performance, so I created a variable that went from 0-5000 and did a torture-test on the encoder. There were some unwanted blips, which you can see as the jagged edges on the graph. For the most part, reading the input was very reliable.
