2014-11-04 (Tu) Arduino Laser Tag

The vest and gun will be driven by two different controllers since Arduino Pro Minis are small and inexpensive. This separation into two modules will ensure that all incoming signals are processed instead of being ignored int he case of a single processor being used for shooting and receiving. The I/O list form the original program, written in 2011, was reviewed and a new list with the I/O distributed across the two controllers was made.

Separation of I/O

To do:
  • Separate program into gun and vest
  • Reprogram for NeoPixels and color screen
  • Design case for processor and attachments
  • Build two test units
  • Make instructions for all parts
