Head brought up the issue of the next ship over food with Shana and Dawson. He caught Dawson off guard who hadn’t given it much thought. Head pressed the issue until Dawson called Numbers on the phone. Numbers said he was in Tibet and shared gorgeous photos with Shana’s phone during the conversation. Numbers’ reason for being in Tibet wasn’t discussed.
The four talked about ship designs. Numbers had napkin sketches which he shared through secured email on Dawson’s tablet.
“The first image was the love child of a Caribbean pirate ship and Tron motorcycle. The second image was a submarine with wings. Or a torpedo with wings. The third image was hard to make out. It looked like LEGOs in a hexagon shape. The last image had the angular look of an all wing stealth bomber but the overall shape of a human hand. Sort of.”
Pros and cons were discussed about each ship design. Head was more attentive to this conversation because of his mechanical aptitude which wasn’t shared by Shana or Dawson.
Some of the Charged people on Numbers’ list were discussed in passing as they could be helpful with the ship. The list itself was discussed but its validity or trustworthiness was not questioned.
At the end of the discussion Jason admits he no longer had The Flying Machine which upset Dawson noticeably. Dawson had a tantrum and ended the conversation.
To do:
Today’s word count: 17 359 - 14 350 = 3 009 words
Total word count: 17 359 + 60 228 + 83 897 = 161 484 words

To do:
- Show how Shana knew Motor and Heather were a new couple.
- Reduce overuse of the word "power."
- Create a cheat sheet for the characters and their abilities.
- Describe a reality TV show which demonstrates the powers of contestants.
- Describe a trial where a Charged person sues for the right to have a second identity but the case turns against him into a vilification of vigilanteism.
