Programming for recognizing a heartbeat as a sudden increase in sensor voltage was, at least temporarily, ignored. Scaling showed that it could be useful by generating the following graph. Revisions produced a result which clearly showed that the sensor dwelled at a low voltage then spiked occasionally. Timing for these spikes seemed to correspond with the pulse rate being measured. Code along these lines will be developed more and output will be generated next.
