Audio recording started with chapter 01. Recording was done with GarageBand on Mac. A very simple technique was used where recording was done one sentence at a time or a short paragraph. If the sample seemed acceptable the next one was done. If the sentence or paragraph sounded like it had errors it was rerecorded until a good take was made.
Chapter 01 resulted in a five minute audio file and was a good starting point since it was so short. Recording was enjoyable but time consuming since it took more than five times as long to record as the resulting file. Chapters will be released as they are recorded. The other benefit, and original purpose, is that the reading encourages edits that have otherwise been ignored while reading silently.
To do:
Today’s word count: 0 - 0 = 0 words
Total word count: 27 240 + 60 228 + 83 897 = 171 365 words
