A small closet was insulated for sound. Egg crate foam (convoluted foam) was pushed against the walls at face level and a padded sleeping bag was hung over the door. These two things created a horizontal plane of padding which seemed to block a lot of sound. No readings were taken to test the sound levels but the isolation was noticeable while standing in the room.

Due to the small space it was not easy to find a work surface that could accommodate the room. A standing desk was placed inside but it was too large to close the door. In the end a fabric covered cart was placed on top of a storage crate. This provided a surface comfortable at standing level and wasn’t a smooth finish which could reflect sound.

There was barely enough space inside the room. Light was provided by a battery operated LED lamp. Heat builds up quickly so the room may have to be vented periodically. The top portion of the door isn’t blocked so it should clear out quickly and there wasn’t much air to evacuate.

  • Describe a trial where a Charged person sues for the right to have a second identity but the case turns against him into a vilification of vigilantism.
