All the part one audio was reviewed. The quality seemed to improve after initial problems were fixed. The sound quality was acceptable for now. Other things recognizable were the flat tone of voice and unnatural intonations. These problems did improve as the recording progressed and will hopefully continue to improve. Listening to over an hour of recorded audio without interruption helped to see some of the persistent problems so they can hopefully be improved.

Since the story was always read in small portions before, and of course written in small chunks, the full impact of the story was never apparent to me. Listening to the first chapters all at once had a much better effect, even through the less-than-perfect recording.
