Two more chapters were recorded, 41 and 42. Appropriate filters haven’t been experimented with to give vastly different voices to different characters and the simple Garageband app may not be the best option. For simple splicing and mixing the software is great. It is fast and stable.
In my mind there is a slider between SIMPLE and VERSATILE. Let’s say a person has $500 to build a computer. $500 dollars in 2016 will buy an entry level Mac Mini, keyboard, mouse and one monitor. That’s everything necessary to get a foot in the door with a Mac. A good purchase for some. On the other end of the spectrum someone could build a custom desktop PC with some mid-range components like a robust sound card or three monitors. This choice has a lot more options but the maintenance will be a higher. This is an equally good purchase.
This is of course right at the heart of the Mac/PC dispute and applies to mobile OS devices and a just about everything else. Another quick analogy, a high-end boombox will play whatever music you want with a couple buttons and switches while a full-fledged sound system will have many more options like streaming music and multiple inputs.
This is the problem with Garageband. There is not enough versatility to keep up with what should happen with the audio book. For the podcast this simplicity makes editing relatively easy and there is absolutely no reason to stop using it. This blog was not a complaint about Garageband, simply a venue to express the SIMPLICITY v VERSATILITY slider.

Charged
To do:
- Show how Shana knew Motor and Heather were a new couple.
- Describe a reality TV show which demonstrates the powers of contestants.
- Describe a civil trial where a Charged person sues for the right to have a second identity but the case turns against him into a vilification of vigilantism.
