Chapter thirty-eight was over two-thousand words long. This was longer than most chapters and longer than the combination of two, or even three of the shorter chapters.

Throughout the editing process, things which would go unnoticed at the beginning are edited away. This means two things. One, I'm becoming more liberal with my edits, and this is good for the book. Two, I will need another pass through the book to catch more of the mistakes. A second edit should take less time than the first and will likely coincide with an audiobook recording.
