Blank buttons weren’t available in the round typewriter style, at least not at my price point. Instead, the tops were covered in electrical tape. The tape was cut on the laser cutter to get the correct diameter and shape. Black tape was available, so silver and gold markers were purchased to mark the tops. Unfortunately, the tape resisted marking, so the legends wore off after a few minutes. The next thing will be to try white tape with a permanent black marker.
