Changing Color Under Pressure
Sometimes a hack comes across my desk and it just seems super cool. Then, the more I think about it, the more it seems like it is functional at a level that isn't immediately clear. Strands that change color when stretched seem like a quirky sci-fi affectation, but the possibilities for seeing stress on a machine or plane at a glance is huge.
