Another light sequence was programmed. This one sequentially turned off the lights, starting at the top, and relit them with the updated color one at a time, starting at the bottom. Before this was written, a different pattern was attempted where the lights would all flash a few pseudorandom colors before settling on the intended tone, but there were all kinds of issues making it work, including initializing variables inside a switch statement and converting random integers to floats. That code was scrapped, and another style may be created.
