I thought it would be no trouble to read my SD card data and insert it into an Arduino array. Wrangling this much data turned out to be more difficult than I first assumed. I have only dealt with a few data fields in the past, but now I recorded an array with 120 numbers. At first, I thought it wouldn't be more complicated than recognizing commas and converting characters into integers. It turned out that I also had to identify newlines, ignore alpha characters, and differentiate between a null character and an integer zero. In the end, I was able to massage all the numbers and faithfully translate my spreadsheet into a two-dimensional array.
