Whenever I changed moods, the overall tempo would not change, even though I created one with one-quarter speed and another at two-and-a-half. I assumed my calculation was off, but it seemed solid. I found that I had to move the sliders for the tempo to update. Updates should have also happened when I changed moods, so I added that.
Another problem I tackled was where the screen would run updates on subsequent moods after a change. So, if I changed A, then B, C, and D would unnecessarily update. The updates were time-consuming and interrupted the sound. The problem was a bit that I set high when any mood changed, but I didn't reset it once it ran the relevant update.
