Today was full of house-keeping tasks. The first thing I did was remove some unused instrument columns from my spreadsheet. Secondly, I wanted to utilize the built-in button on my screen module, but I didn't know what pin it used, so I wrote a sketch to report changes on all fifty Arduino MEGA pins. Maybe the button does something internal or reports via serial data because I gave up.
During startup, the controller spends some time reporting status via serial, but it was all diagnostic stuff from the past. I withheld print statements until the controller receives anything on the communication port. Lastly, I created a spreadsheet that pseudo-randomly generated moods. As a test, I put twenty into my controller, and half of them might be useful.
