Converting a Nintendo Zapper to a wireless remote was a pretty simple project, but I liked the form factor, so I wrote an article for it. The hacker delighted some kids with the plastic gun that could activate and deactivate appliances with a pull of the trigger. I wasn't impressed with the kludgy receptacle, but the idea was sound.
