Chapter seven had all the features I sought to create, like a silent leader where I could sample all the noise in the room and use that to clean up the rest. I passed through the sounds and removed all the interstitial silences, but I also looked at where I inhaled and deleted those gasps. In the future, I think I will pause before and after taking a breath, so make the inhalations easy to spot, and it may help me relax while speaking.
Next, I placed all the clips on their character's tracks with gaps between sounds. I thought moving them around would be a simple job, but my intervals were too short. I had trouble adding silences, so folks didn't talk at a machine-gun pace.
