Supplying power to all the units will be a challenge. First, I need a power port in addition to the MIDI connector, and secondly, I need something to supply the power. I planned to get a 12V power supply and rely on the Arduinos' onboard voltage regulator. Still, I decided it would fit the project better to have a central distribution box that looked like the rest of the tin containers and supplied a bunch of USB sockets. I'll get to that design later, but I made a model that will let me mount a micro USB port on the outside of each container.
I countersank the holes on top, but the printer smooshed the first few layers, so I resorted to pan head bolts. The threaded posts will extend into the enclosure, and I will add a hole below the PCB to run my wires.
