When I discussed this project with my fellow gym members, we discussed how there isn't a demand for race trackers since professionals will not mind spending 600 to 1000 dollars and amateurs usually accept a stopwatch despite the inherent human error. I doubt many folks will want to copy this design, but I drafted a circuit schematic showing the components and connections, but I left off the terminal numbers since I haven't figured them out yet, but they should be clear when I write the program.
