2022-09-18 (Su) SkateSailV4 Sail sewing

The sail's shape was difficult to judge on a rectangular table, so I used the fiberglass poles to mark the sides and eyeballed the top and bottom. I used less fabric at the top for the sail's leech than I originally planned, so the gap at the bottom was smaller but will give plenty of clearance to the hinge. I folded over the cut edges with enough room for the poles and added nylon webbing at the tops to make pockets for the sharp ends.
