2022-12-24 (Sa) Gravy Shock Ness 1.6

My new microphone arrived. I assumed the noise would decrease with my upgrade from an inexpensive mic. I was unprepared for how much noise would disappear. I listened to the last line from the old unit and rerecorded it, which I screenshotted below. The old recording, on top, shows a noisy band when I was silent, but the bottom shows a whispy line during inactivity. I also found how much the static masked because I could hear my partner breathing in the next room with the door closed.
