I learned my lesson about not planning for accuracy when I cut parts. I drafted the shape for my back panel and printed it on a large-scale printer to ensure I had straight lines and adequately spaced holes. I taped the paper to my board and marked the holes with a center punch. I used a jigsaw to cut the edges, which was straighter than the free-hand method I used for the bottom. I cleaned off the edges and drilled the mounting holes. I was careful with the drilling to avoid blowouts and slivers everywhere.
