My fiancé went through my badge assembly instructions to give feedback. She assembled one unit but needed clarification. Her input will help me make a better manual.
I made the changes to my instructions. Most of the wording was all right, but I had to take a couple of new pictures regarding how to connect wires. During Grindfest, I should make an assembly video.
I started converting my scribbles into Speaker Notes, but it was more complex than I hoped. There is a lot more content and more to add.
I received a Proxmark3 RDV4 for my birthday and set it up. The process was painfully frustrating, and the community was toxic. I would only recommend this product if they had someone to guide them through the setup and their first reads. Once it worked, I cloned my apartment's entry fob to a blank one and the RFID implant in my right hand.
The drive to Grindfest 9 was pleasant. My fiancé and I discussed what we wanted to see and do, then listened to an audiobook. Part of her day was rearranging the schedule as people made last-minute changes.
I helped get Grindfest 9 ready to start, and I also found someone willing to teach me about drone flying. I chipped two propeller blades and forgot to hit record before my flyby of the house, which would have looked pretty cool.
