When I resized the rubber band, I made it the same size as the exterior cage instead of making it tight, as I did for all the previous REVs. I installed the interior cage with the magnet spinner, which could bounce without hitting the walls. I did not have a suitable M3 brass bolt for feedback, but I had a long threaded brass rod, so the compass looked like a lollipop. When I jostled it, I received significant feedback! I only felt and heard a metallic collision when the exterior cage pointed north.
