The magnet installation was faster than ever since the interior cage had two arms instead of four. It may not even be properly called a cage anymore. The wider cleats made the rubber bands similarly quick to install. The compass functioned less efficiently than previous REVs because the increased thickness forced the interior cage to rest on the exterior cage's floor. There was also an issue where the beads could brush against the interior cage's round ceiling.
