2024-10-09 (W) GrinderCompassMKIII Capsule buoy sketch

I sketched my idea for a buoy that would not use any additional hardware besides the magnet. It would still want to float upright by keeping the magnet in the bottom half, but the lower portion would be a hemisphere that should reduce unwanted slamming sensations compared with the previous version, which had a machine screw sticking out of the bottom.

As I considered how this should work, making the buoy neutrally buoyant is a mistake, because I want it to move differently than the water suspending it. It would be smaller if the buoy sank, but it would be easier to integrate feedback with a floating model.
