2024-10-20 (Su) Bubbly phone stand feet adapter COMPLETED

My fiance has a case on her phone that makes it 20mm deep, much thicker than designers typically choose for their stands. I wanted to make something quick and functional but not flimsy. I sketched out a shape, measured the stand's dimensions, and made one with all 90-degree corners. I experimented with the minkowski() function in OpenSCAD and converted it to rounded edges, and I did it in forty lines of code. The rendering time was unbearable.

The prints turned out wonderfully. I built them on a resin printer with no supports. The edges are rounded like marshmallows and fit just as snuggly as crisp angles without all the sharp corners. Her phone fit perfectly!
