The previous mind map was a jumble, but it transcriped my ideas to paper. After I received a used Guitar Hero controller, I redrew it when I knew the hardware controls and confirmed that I could remove the fretboard. The final shape was more uniform than the previous one since I knew I would need more room for "Controls," which took up one-third of the space. I kept a separate list of my I/O points and the hardware I wanted, like a speaker, headphone jack, and an OLED screen.
