I gathered the parts I wanted for the EWC_Noodle. There were some things I probably will not need, but having them together lets me organize my thoughts. For example, I grabbed a 4-digit 7-segment display that I decided was unnecessary, but it helped me decide what to display on my 0.96" OLED display.
The most important thing I did was decide which items would be mounted on the outside, like a potentiometer, the MIDI ports, speakers, and the screen. Most of the components will go inside and replace the existing control board. I made a list of the parts I needed to order, like a USB-C chassis-mount connector and a battery charger with an integrated step-up regulator.
