I wired the USB data and power section for the guitar controller. This included the wires from the USB-C connector with power running to the battery charging board, but the data lines went to the microcontroller. The microcontroller receives power from the regulator on the battery charging board. I did not have a pinout for the USB-C connection and the Micro USB breakout connected to the Arduino, so I guessed, and I will reverse the wires if necessary.
