I wanted setting changes to persist after I powered down, and the EEPROM function built into TcMenu was supposed to do that. I read the documentation, but it did not describe how to implement it in my code. I searched their videos, but there was nothing immediately obvious. I read further into the documentation, and it said they implemented it in the examples, but not which one. I found it by opening them all and searching for one that used the commands I read about. When I integrated the code into my project, it failed to compile until I added the EEPROM library. After that, the device began bootlooping, so I moved the command to a function I could select through the menu. It still caused a reboot. If I want to store the value in non-volatile memory, I must do it myself.
